Emergency First Response (EFR)

First aid training on deck

Emergency First Response covers primary and secondary care, including CPR, first aid, and the basics of using an AED and oxygen. It's taught in a classroom format with hands-on practice, doesn't require any dive gear, and stays valid for 24 months. EFR is also a required prerequisite before you can start Rescue Diver or Divemaster training.

We'll pick you up and bring you in for the day — there's no dive site to pick since this course stays on land, working through Primary and Secondary Care with hands-on AED and oxygen practice in the classroom. It's a full day of scenario practice rather than sitting through lectures, so expect to be up and moving, not just watching. We'll drop you where we picked you up once the day wraps up.
