Advanced Open Water (PADI)

Divers at a wreck site

Advanced Open Water builds directly on your Open Water certification with five real-world adventure dives instead of classroom drills. You'll complete a Deep dive and a Navigation dive as the required core, then choose three electives — Night, Wreck, Buoyancy, or Drift — based on what interests you most. It's the natural next step once you're comfortable diving and want to build real experience.

Quick Details

  • Min age: 12+ (Junior) / 15+
  • Duration: 2-3 days

Prerequisites

You'll need: PADI Open Water (or equivalent).

Medical clearance required for certain health conditions. View PADI's medical form.

We'll pick you up and head to whichever site suits each of the five dives, chosen day by day around conditions and your comfort level. The Deep dive usually runs noticeably darker and cooler than reef diving you've done so far, while Navigation sticks to familiar shallower reef so you can focus on compass work. Your three elective sites vary with what you pick — tell us if you have somewhere specific in mind and we'll check it against conditions and your experience. We'll get you back to where we picked you up after each day's diving.

$355per person

Includes PADI eLearning theory. Already completed it, or would rather buy it yourself? Buy it directly from PADI and take $156.40 off at booking — you'll just need to show proof it's finished before your first day.
